How is the construction of a new highway bypassing Simferopol progressing — “Donskoye — Perevalnoye”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The construction of the first stage of the Donskoye – Perevalnoye highway bypassing Simferopol is 80% ready. About it reported at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea. As they say, all that remains is to lay the final layer of asphalt — and off we go… Next up is the second stage.
This object is an absolute analogue of the Tavrida highway; it has the same characteristics. The length of the road is 25.2 kilometers — the cost is 35 billion rubles. During the implementation of this project, about 11 bridges and 7 interchanges of different levels will be built— said the head of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Road Service of the Republic of Crimea» Maxim Tarasov.
According to road workers, the new bypass route (directly from Tavrida to the South Coast) will relieve the streets of Simferopol from transit transport and redistribute traffic flows from the A-291 Tavrida highway in the direction of Alushta. In addition, this is a significant (an hour to an hour and a half) saving in travel time.
During the implementation of this project, 11 overpass bridges and seven interchanges will be built. At the first stage, it is necessary to complete the construction work, laying the top layer of asphalt, and work on installing barrier structures. At the second stage, work is currently underway on the arrangement of the roadbed, the reconstruction of communications, and the construction of artificial structuresnoted the head of the Crimean Highway Service.
As for the second stage, it “affects” the lands of Zarechny and the protective zone of the Ayansky reservoir. Up to 150 plots will have to be confiscated. The process (negotiations) is (are) underway.
The second stage passes through the settlement and the water protection zone of the Ayansky reservoir. We chose the most optimal option to minimize inconvenience for residents. Confiscations are still ongoing today; in total, about 100 — 150 plots will be required. A full assessment is carried out and the full commercial value of the objects is paid— quotes Tarasov RIA Novosti Crimea.
