How Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha is celebrated in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today, on June 28, festive prayers were performed in all mosques of Crimea on the occasion of the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
According to the press service of the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Crimea, the main place for the Muslims of Crimea has traditionally become the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions in Simferopol, where the Mufti of the Muslims of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Hadji Emirali Ablaev, held the Bairam prayer (holiday prayer). Muslims from all regions of the peninsula came to the festive prayer.
The spiritual leader of the Muslims of Crimea delivered a traditional sermon. In his speech, Haji Emirali Ablaev called on Muslims to unity, respect cultural traditions, study their native language and know their religion, responsibility and fulfill their obligations to Allah Almighty. Afterwards, the Mufti held a collective Bairam-namaz (holiday prayer) and congratulated all the Muslims of Crimea on the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha.
Eid al-Adha is a holiday that originates and continues to our time since the time of our ancestors, since the time of the Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), this is an example for Muslims. To perform a sacrifice by a Muslim who has the opportunity is a necessity close to obligatory. If it is the will of Allah, our people and all Muslims, performing this ceremony, will thereby fulfill their duty, express their gratitude and glorification of the Almighty. May we also not deprive ourselves of this. Whoever has the opportunity, let them make a sacrifice.
May the Almighty accept our prayers, may this holiday for our people, for all mankind, become an occasion to see the best days. Congratulations to all Muslims, Muslims of Crimea, all residents of the Republic on this holiday. May the Almighty give us the opportunity to see many more holidays. I wish you all peace and good! — Hadji Emirali Ablaev addressed the believers.
