How residents and guests of Sevastopol celebrated the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, a large-scale festive event for guests and residents of Sevastopol took place in the Tauric Chersonese Museum-Reserve. Deputy Governor Alexander Kulagin and Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev took part in it.

Family, love and fidelity are the basis of our society, the basis of the universe. I congratulate our dear families, families with many children, families who live in marriage, love and harmony for many, many years. I want to convey the words of gratitude from the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev for showing a very bright, kind example of how to live, how to create, how to love each other and how to educate children in love for the Motherland , — the vice-governor addressed those present.

Alexander Kulagin presented letters of thanks from the Governor of Sevastopol and gift certificates to the families-winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian competition «Family of the Year — 532». They were: in the nomination «Young Family» — the Kudryavtsev family, «Large Family» — the Rezaev family, «Family Dynasty» — the Kulagin family.

Also, commemorative medals «For Love and Loyalty» and gifts were presented to married couples who have been married for more than 25 years and gained fame among the inhabitants of the city by the fortress of family foundations.

Vladimir Nemtsev awarded the honorary badge «Parental Glory of the City of Sevastopol» to the Karakuts family — Petr Viktorovich and Lyubov Nikolaevna — for their services in strengthening the institution of the family and raising children. The family of Karakuts brings up four native children, three adopted and adopted.

We have such a big family. We are driven by love for children. It all started with the fact that our children just grew up and the youngest daughter really wanted a little sister. We went to an orphanage and found Katya there, and that’s how they grew up together. But since we were still young, it was 07 years ago, we were offered to adopt two more boys. So Ilyusha and Sasha — twins — also went for adoption with Katya. All parents love their children, want them to be happy, educate them. I think that we probably still have more discipline. With a large family, with a large number of children, there is no way without this , — shared Lyubov Karakuts.

In total, on this day, 07 Sevastopol families were awarded with various awards.

At the end of the celebration, the ceremony of commemorative cancellation of postage stamps dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity took place. In the evening in Chersonese, all visitors were treated to an entertainment program with thematic workshops, theatrical tours, family quests, and a concert of a symphony orchestra.
