Russia Day in Sevastopol began with the solemn laying of the Memorial to the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol 1941-1942 at the Eternal Flame.
Together with the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Vladimirovich Nemtsev, Deputy Commander of the Black Sea Fleet Vyacheslav Vladimirovich Vitold, Senator Ekaterina Borisovna Altabaeva, State Duma deputy Tatyana Georgievna Lobach, members of the government and deputies of the Legislative Assembly, heads of federal and law enforcement agencies, veterans and social activists, we laid flowers at the eternal flame and honored the memory of our heroessaid Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
The event ended with a solemn march of the Honor Guard company and the military orchestra of the Black Sea Fleet.
