How Sevastopol Entrepreneurs Develop Business Thanks to Grants

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Today, the director of the Department of Economic Development Denis Profatilov paid a working visit to the Turka Barsuka coffee shop. It opened last year thanks to grant support.

The Easy Start grant competition is held annually in Sevastopol. Thanks to this, we have already supported a significant number of entrepreneurs. Last year one of the winners was Vladimir Lizh. Today we made sure that things are going well in the coffee shop, we are very pleased with the success of the entrepreneurs we support. In total, grants were issued to 44 youth entrepreneurship entities under the Easy Start program last year— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Denis Profatilov.

Vladimir Lizh used the proceeds to rent premises on Ochakovtsev Street. Now the business is developing successfully: more than 40 people come here every day. This coffee shop is themed. The entrepreneur chose the concept of the Harry Potter universe.

I had a lot of ideas when I was still a hired employee in another coffee shop, and I really wanted to implement them. In particular, I wanted to create a small cozy place. While planning, I went to the My Business center, where they told me about the Easy Start program. Applied and won a grant. This is a very effective support measure that helped in the most difficult period of time — at the end of the season. They also helped me with accounting advice.— says the owner of the coffee house Vladimir Lizh.

Future plans are to expand the business. The entrepreneur plans to hire interns and start roasting coffee.
