Since Children’s Day falls on a working day this year, events dedicated to the holiday will be held in Sevastopol on Thursday, June 1, and on Saturday, June 3.
- On June 1 at 10:20 am, the Sevastopol Theater for Young Spectators will host an interactive event, as well as the opening ceremony of the 7th All-Russian Festival of Theater Arts for Children «Fairytale Kingdom». At 15:00 in the lobby of the theater there will be a master class by the Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Crimea Aksinya Normanskaya on the topic “How does the performance work?”. You can register by link. At 17:45 on the square in front of the theater there will be exercises from the Judo Federation and the Center for Sports Training of the Sevastopol National Teams, and at 18:30 the artists of the City Drama Theater «Studio» by L. Yermolova from Omsk will show the fairy tale «The Snow Queen» on the stage of the theater.
- At 11:00 am, the photo exhibition «Victory of Love» will open at the Fishermen’s Palace of Culture as part of the All-Russian project «Together for a Family.» The stories of mothers with children, couples in love, young fathers with sons will be presented at interactive photo booths in the form of scaled smartphones. There will also be an exhibition of children’s creativity of the participants of the city festival of talents for special children «Give me childhood» and a master class on painting gingerbread. At 12:00, a gala concert of the winners of the city’s talent competition for special children «Give Me Childhood» will take place here.
- At 11:00 in the cinemas «Moskva», «Pobeda», «Rossiya», «Seaman» and at 12:30 in the cinema «October» in Inkerman, everyone will be shown the feature film «Welcome, or No Trespassing» free of charge.
- At 12:00 in the Sevastopol center of culture and arts on Lenin, 25 will begin a festive program dedicated to the International Children’s Day. The winners and laureates of international and all-Russian competitions will perform: the exemplary choreographic studio «Black Sea», the exemplary vocal ensemble «Freckles», the pop vocal studio «Musiki», the studio of children’s development «Harmony».
- A number of events will be held in Sevastopol libraries.
- At 9:00 in the library-branch No. 37 in the village of Kacha on Nesterova, 5, the program «Voiced Summer» will begin: a quiz, a literary game on the pages of your favorite books and drawings for young readers.
- At 11:00 in the branch library No. 32 in the village of Andreevka on Tsentralnaya, 24, the program «Let there always be sunshine» will begin: a quiz «Book relay race of a sunny summer» and a master class «Soviet».
- At 13:00 in the library-branch No. 6 at Proletarskaya, 38, a literary lounge «Reading — do not get bored» will take place. Within the framework of the drawing room, a meeting will be held with Sevastopol children’s writers Tamara Dyachenko and Tatiana Kornienko for children and parents of the All-Russian Organization of Parents of Disabled Children. At 15:00, a festive concert program “We are Sevastopol” will begin here — students of the Sevastopol guitar school “Strings of the Soul” will perform touching works about childhood, about Sevastopol, about Russia.
- At 14:30 in the branch library No. 23 in the village of Ternovka on Lenina, 7, the Magic Screen animation salon will be held. The audience will be shown the cartoon «The Frog Princess», and the children will also be able to draw with crayons during the program «Draw Summer on Asphalt».
- At 16:00 in the Central City Library. L. N. Tolstoy will begin a family evening «Art-family». The program includes a family meeting with child and family psychologist Natalya Burakova, a meeting with the curator of the Seize the Moment exhibition Andrey Bubnov, who will tell you why it is important to instill in children a love of art, and a fabulous lecture “Vasnetsov is an artist for children and adults”.
- On June 3 at 11:00 at the cinemas Moskva, Pobeda, Rossiya, Moryak and at 12:30 at the Oktyabr cinema in Inkerman, cartoons will be shown to everyone free of charge.
- At 12:00 in the cultural center «Korabel» there will be a concert from the exemplary vocal group «Polariki» and the exemplary studio of acrobatic ballet «Shadows».
- From 15:00 to 17:00 on the summer stage of Primorsky Boulevard «Rakushka» a festive concert and entertainment program for children will take place. A special guest will take part — the illusionist Alexander Malobensky. The program includes performances by children’s creative teams, famous Sevastopol artists, a show of life-size puppets, a show of soap bubbles and interactives from the hosts.
Also, a number of events will take place in clubs and houses of culture of Sevastopol municipalities.
