A mural with a tricolor, a youth action and a «thematic trolleybus».
A mural dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of Russia was opened in the capital of Crimea today. An artistically painted wall adorns Tolstoy Street; work here will continue until the end of August.
The graffiti depicts one of the main state symbols — the flag of our country. Assistance in creating a new location was also provided by caring youth, a public organization, non-profit organizations and social business. Preparation and work lasted a week. It took more than 150 liters of paint to create the mural.
Today our city, together with the whole country, celebrates a public holiday. In honor of this, events are planned in the city, including patriotic actions with the distribution of the state tricolor, the creation of a conditional flag of our country in the city center. Also, in honor of this day, the administration of Simferopol, together with public organizations, made a wonderful mural, it will be fully completed by September 1. I am sure that we will continue to do more and more such iconic things.— said the head of the administration of Simferopol Mikhail Afanasiev.
Also on the territory of the city, volunteers distributed more than 3,500 tricolor ribbons.
And in Simferopol, on the Day of the State Flag of Russia, a festive trolleybus was launched. All passengers receive tricolor flags and ride to the tune of Gazmanov’s song «Forward, Russia.»
