December 19 is the Day of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The holiday, of course, is Orthodox, but also for children in essence. On this day, all children (obedient) know that there must be gifts from St. Nicholas and look forward to them. Despite the fact that this year the winter holidays in Crimea will be quiet and modest, without mass events, children and adults will be treated to elegant New Year trees, exhibitions, theatrical performances, competitive entertainment programs, as well as meetings with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. And the start of this series of holidays is exactly December 19th. How will St. Nicholas Day be celebrated in Simferopol?

Let us note that on December 19 at 12 o’clock the opening of the exhibition “From St. Nicholas to the Baptism of the Lord!” will take place at the Ethnographic Museum of the city of Simferopol. Well, in the evening the main tree of the Crimean capital (on Lenin Square) will shine with New Year’s lights.
