How the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation will be celebrated in Sevastopol

On August 22, events dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation will be held in Sevastopol. The city government announces the holiday program.

At 10:00 on the territory of the memorial complex «Sapun Mountain» a patriotic action «Flag of the Motherland» will be held.

At 10:15 a.m., the largest copy of the Russian tricolor in Sevastopol will be unfolded on the square in front of the diorama building.

At 11:00 in the department «The world of a teenager» of the Central Children’s Library. A. P. Gaidar will host a patriotic action «To the glory of the Russian flag.»

Also at 11:00 in the Balaklava administration there will be a festive concert «The flag of the state — a symbol of glory.»

The club of the third branch of the state farm «Zolotaya Balka» at 18:00 will hold a patriotic program for the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation.

At 18:00 at the Palace of Culture in Andreevka there will be a concert «The Territory of the Tricolor», as well as an exhibition of works by members of club formations in the fine arts.

At the end of the holiday at 18:30 in the Central City Library. L. N. Tolstoy will take part in the brain ring “A Symbol Born of History”.
