How the repair and restoration work is progressing in the Bakhchisaray Khan's Palace
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina inspected the progress of repair and restoration work at the cultural heritage sites of the Khan’s Palace complex in Bakhchisarai.
Within the framework of the state program of the Russian Federation «Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol», work is being carried out on cultural heritage sites of the palace ensemble.
Currently, work has been completed on three sites, and objects are at the stage of restoration activities.
During the visit, a significant delay from the work schedule was recorded, as well as an insufficient number of labor at the construction site.
Five objects under the contract with the contractor Gefest LLC are of extreme concern in terms of the slow pace of work provided for by the approved schedule. In this regard, it is necessary in the near future to revise the organization of the workflow in order to eliminate backlogs in repair and restoration activities. In case of non-fulfillment of the tasks set by the contractor, the possibility of terminating the state contract and applying appropriate sanctions for non-fulfillment of the terms of the contract will be considered , the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reports.
