On September 23 and 24, sports and cultural events dedicated to Tourism Day will be held in Simferopol. There will also be two free tours. This was announced by the head of the youth, sports and tourism department of the administration of the Crimean capital, Anatoly Golubitsa.
The program will be organized by location:
Square named after V.I. Lenin.
10:00 – 12:00 opening of the event. Greetings to the participants. Distribution of bypass flyers for 2 cycling tourist routes.
Route No. 1 “Two Salgirs” (blue) at 18.4 km.
Route No. 2 “Two Parks” (green) for 13 km.
10:00 – 16:30 independent passage of routes.
Participants move counterclockwise, collecting “selfies” at control points (CP). The organizers expect participants from 15:00 to distribute stickers for passing the checkpoint.
15:00 – 17:00 awarding of participants, closing of the event.

The administration of Simferopol is conducting two free excursions dedicated to Tourism Day and informs that registration for excursions is open!
The first excursion is September 23 at 10.00.
Excursion-picnic “Deep into the centuries”. The route will go along Vorovskogo Street to the Naples Scythian Museum. Participants are advised to bring water, trekking poles and a snack to have a picnic at the city viewpoint at the end of the excursion.

The second excursion is September 24 at 10:00.
Natural landscape excursion-picnic “Arboretum of forester Pechenkin”. The route will pass along the eastern side of the Simferopol reservoir. The total length of the route is about 15 km. It is recommended to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes, and take at least 1.5 liters with you. water, as well as a snack for an organized picnic. Lighting an open fire and leaving the route is prohibited!
