Hydraulic structures of Sevastopol are preparing for floods

For the passage of floods in an accident-free mode, preventive measures are being taken at the hydraulic structures of Sevastopol. Today, work began in the village of Shirokoye, on the dam of the Biyuk-Muskomiya reservoir. This was reported by the press service of the city government.

Specialists carry out intermediate measurements, leveling, clean the waste channel with a length of 52 meters with an excavator and evenly deepen it along the marks to form a «fast flow». The work is scheduled to be completed by February 6.
This year, it is planned to prepare for the passage of floods at the hydraulic structures of the Urkusta, Tylovoe No. 1 reservoirs, the Tractor Stan No. 1 pond and the storage pond in the village of Rossoshanka.
In December 520 of the year, the directorate of protected areas and forestry successfully completed work on the Toropova Dacha and Touristsky reservoirs.
