I didn't calculate my strength. Evening adventure of a cyclist on a mountain road in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the GKU RK «CRIMEA-SPAS» assisted a cyclist who was «stuck» on the mountain road of the South Coast.
On June 28, at 21:45, the KRYM-SPAS operational duty officer received a message that on the Romanovskoye highway (Yalta-Alushta mountain road), 18 km from Yalta, there was a man cyclist who was exhausted. It cannot move on its own. The help of rescuers in its evacuation is required.
Rescuers contacted the victim to obtain more accurate information about his condition and location, but the connection was interrupted. Due to the dark time of the day, the shift on duty of the Yalta emergency rescue team of the GKU RK «Crimea-Spas» promptly advanced to the area of search operations. Within an hour, a man, a resident of Evpatoria, was discovered. Rescuers found out that the victim, having left Yalta in the evening and heading along the Romanovsky highway towards Alushta, did not calculate his own strength. The man was taken to Yalta. He did not need medical attention— told the details in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
