“I had a rest” in Crimea: I drank and had fun, and accidentally killed a man. There will be a trial

A 37-year-old resident of the Belgorod region “rested” in Crimea — now she is accused of causing death by negligence.
As the investigation established, in August 2023, the accused, while on vacation on a coastal veranda in one of the villages of the Alushta urban district in the company of other people, during a conflict, while intoxicated, pushed the 43-year-old victim, causing the latter to fall down the stairs , leading to the beach, and rolled down the steps. As a result of the fall, the victim received an open head injury and other injuries, after which he was taken to a medical facility, where he died the next day— the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The criminal case was sent to the Alushta City Court for consideration on the merits. Punishment under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence) – imprisonment for up to 2 years.
