A local resident contacted the Kerch police with a complaint about the theft of $700 from his wallet after… visiting guests. According to the applicant, the damage caused is more than 50 thousand rubles.
During the investigation, police officers identified the suspect as a 46-year-old native of a neighboring region. On the day of the theft, a mutual friend came to visit him and his friend, with whom they drank alcohol, after which the attacker saw that her guest had money in foreign currency, which the latter had stolen from a man’s purse. Spent the money on personal needs— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Let us note that the court openly pitied the “green lover.” According to Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“theft causing significant damage to a citizen”) the maximum penalty is 5 years in prison. The court determined the minimum term — imprisonment for a period of 6 months.
