The finals of the prestigious all-Russian competition «Big Break» started at the unique Artek venue, which brought together 700 schoolchildren from grades 5-7 from all over Russia, as well as more than 200 participants from various foreign countries.
Participants of the competition were expected to have exciting and informative master classes and interactive lectures, creating a favorable educational and developing environment. Commissioner of the Southern Federal District and Head of the Psychological Service, Vladislav Ezin, held a master class called «Leader without a team.» In his speech, he shared valuable knowledge about leadership qualities, effective team building and finding a common language among the participants. Nikolay Chemodurov, a post-graduate student of the Faculty of History of the Taurida Academy and editor of the Open Archeology website, also took the stage. His interactive lecture “From the past to the future: the wealth of the native land through archeology” immersed the participants in the world of the ancient history of Artek and revealed unique archaeological finds. The Big Change competition is the flagship project of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth Movement of the First, aimed at developing and creatively realizing the potential of young people.
