The Kirovsky District Court received a criminal case for consideration on the merits against a resident of the Kirovsky district, accused under Part 1 of Art. 282.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public display of Nazi symbols, the public display of which is prohibited by federal laws, if these acts were committed by a person subjected to administrative punishment for any of the administrative offenses provided for in Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation)
The preliminary investigation established that in January 2023, a 53-year-old local resident, having been subjected to administrative punishment for an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, posted 8 images on his social network account that are a Nazi symbol — reported the press service of the court.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to one million rubles or in the amount of wages or other income of the convicted person for a period of two to three years, or compulsory labor for a period of up to four hundred eighty hours, or correctional labor for a period of up to two years, or forced labor for a period of up to four years, or imprisonment for the same term.
