A new creative project by People’s Artist of Russia Ilya Reznik, the Crimean Academic Symphony Orchestra and soloists-vocalists of the Crimean Concert Association will be presented on March 7 at 19:00 on the stage of the Crimean Academic Russian Drama Theater named after. M. Gorky in Simferopol.
The press center of RIA Novosti Crimea hosted a press conference “Maestro’s Anniversary: Ilya Reznik about the past and present,” which was attended by People’s Artist of Russia, film actor, screenwriter, poet Ilya Reznik, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, Director of the Crimean Concert Association Olesya Kostenko, artistic director and chief conductor of the Crimean Academic Symphony Orchestra, Honored Artist of Ukraine and the Republic of Crimea, laureate of the Prize. S. Prokofiev Alexander Dolinsky.
The speakers spoke about creative collaboration, the peculiarities of the author’s program, the combination of poetry and music in its repertoire, and the long-term popularity of Ilya Reznik’s works.
The concert program will feature both new poems by the poet and poems that are well known and loved by more than one generation of Russians and compatriots abroad. The soloists will perform the most popular and endlessly loved songs by listeners based on the poems of Ilya Reznik. The author will read his fables, epigrams, prayers, sonnets and lyrical dedications. The compositions “Let’s Skimp on Love”, “Vernisage”, “Ballet”, “Cinderella”, “Cabriolet”, “Song of Sevastopol”, “Grandmother Next to Grandfather”, “Children of War”, “To Serve Russia” and many others will be performed in Simferopol in the author’s program «Maestro’s Anniversary» accompanied by the Crimean Academic Symphony Orchestra. The special guest of the program will be Ilya Reznik’s children’s musical theater “Little Country”.
The concert will also be attended by Honored Artists of the Republic of Crimea Arzy Medzhidova and Anna Glushko, laureate of international competitions Marina German, laureate of the International Variety Festival, finalist of the TV show “X-Factor” Yakov Golovko, Honored Artist of the City of Sevastopol Mikhail Ignatov, Honored Artist of Crimea Alexander Batrak and Svetlana Batrak.
The concerts will take place on April 5 at the Yalta Theater. A.P. Chekhov and April 7 at the Sevastopol Center for Culture and Arts.
