Important: a Commission of the State Council was formed on the support of war veterans — participants of their own and their families

The main tasks of the commission are, in particular, the development of additional social support measures and assistance to provide participants in special military operations and members of their families, as well as other measures related to their adaptation to peaceful life, the development of proposals for the organization of medical care, psychological and psychotherapeutic assistance, social services, providing maintenance tools and drugs, monitoring and analysis of the results implementation in the territories of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation provided by him measures of social support and assistance.

The Commission has the right, among other things, to give recommendations to the federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, local authorities, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation and other organizations on issues related to its competence, prepare and submit proposals for the President of the Russian Federation on issues requiring its decisions.
