From April 1, the first stage of taking children in the first grade for 2025/2026 academic year will start in the schools of the city. More about this was told by the deputy head of the Department of Education Natalya Matyukhina.
According to her, admission to the 1st grade will be carried out in 2 stages, namely: from April 1 to June 30 and from July 6 to September 5th.
In the first stage, the following categories of citizens are presented:
I category — having an extraordinary right to enroll at the place of residence of their families (the place of residence is confirmed by registration — form 8 or form 3):
— the children of those who died on their or dead due to injuries received during a special military operation; Children of military personnel, employees of the National Guard, as well as citizens who were in volunteer formations.
II category — having priority right to enroll at the place of residence of their families (the place of residence is confirmed by registration — Form 8 or Form 3):
— children of military personnel;
— children of police and other employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
-children of employees of the penal system (FSIN);
-children of the employees of the enforcement agencies (FSSP-Sudestic bailiffs);
— children of fire service workers;
— Children of customs workers.
III category — having a predominant right to enrollment:
Children whose older brothers and sisters study in this school (native, summary, adopted).
IV category — children registered in the territory assigned to the school.
“The main list of documents necessary for enrolling all categories of children includes: the statement of the parent or legal representative of the child, the birth certificate of the child and the passport of the parent or legal representative,” Natalya Matyukhina emphasized.
The second stage begins on July 6 and lasts until September 5.
During this period, schools accept all categories of citizens to free places.
As part of the reception campaign of 2025, updated norms entered into force for foreign citizens. Starting from April, two additional selection criteria are applied to them, which is due to the adjustments made in Article 67 and 78 of Federal Law No. 544-ФЗ dated December 28, 2024 “On Education”.
The first requirement concerns the provision by parents of documentary confirmation of the legal stay of a foreign child within the Russian Federation.
The second condition is that upon admission to MBOU, a foreign applicant is obliged to undergo a free check of the level of ownership of the Russian language, necessary for the successful assimilation of basic general educational programs. In case of insufficient level of language proficiency, the child will not be allowed to study according to these programs.
