Notaries and neural networks, machine-readable powers of attorney, certificates of inheritance in electronic form, providing evidence on the Internet and other relevant topics were discussed by the participants of the seminar on the use of information technologies in notarial activities. The seminar, which was attended by notaries from almost all constituent entities of the Russian Federation, was held on October 5 and 6 in the city of Belokurikha. On behalf of the Notary Chamber of the city of Sevastopol, the president of the chamber, Olga Kalenkovich, took part in the event.
We see that the future of notaries is inextricably linked with the development of information technology. In today’s world, effective time and information management is critical. Digitalization has penetrated almost all areas of human activity, and we accept the challenges of the time and successfully create functionality that allows you to receive notary services with minimal time expenditure, the highest quality and traditional notary professionalism,” noted the President of the Altai Regional Notary Chamber Oksana Ageeva in her speech.
The notary office is actively introducing new technologies into its work. Routine actions are gradually becoming a thing of the past, and the share of modern ones based on electronic innovations is growing. For example, in the Altai Territory 5 years ago, witnessing copies of documents accounted for a significant share of notarial actions. During this period, their number was halved. And a similar trend is typical for the entire country.
Today, more than a third of notarial acts have a digital component. For example, one of the most popular actions is the equivalence or identity of an electronic document with a paper one, when documents are converted into electronic form and transferred to any city or region of Russia while retaining their legal force. Notaries master and implement new competencies in their work, such as mediation agreements, inheritance agreements, joint wills.
This is the third seminar on the use of information technology held by the Federal Notary Chamber. Such seminars allow you to communicate and exchange experiences. In Belokurikha, at this seminar, for the first time, a meeting of the CIT FNP and regional notary chambers was held, the practice turned out to be successful,” said Oleg Golovatyuk, Chairman of the Federal Notary Chamber Commission on the Use of Information Technologies, Vice-President of the Kaluga Regional Notary Chamber.
The dense program of our seminar is interesting with a lot of questions — as a program for further action,” said Advisor to the President of the Federal Notary Chamber for Information Technologies Mikhail Mukovozov.
The seminar on the use of information technology in notarial activities lasted two days.
