The already improved trails are in great demand among Crimeans and our guests. In general, we are seeing a trend towards ecological, mountain-hiking tourism and our task is to make this type of recreation safe and comfortable— the press service of the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Ganzii, quotes.
The Great Crimean Trail will unite more than 3,000 tourist sites located directly on the route and in close proximity to it. In total, the project plans to improve 52 trails with a total length of 750 km. This is a linear route that runs along the Black Sea coast. It will connect Western and Eastern Crimea, as well as part of the mountainous peninsula. The trail passes through seven municipal districts and six urban districts, more than 20 specially protected natural areas.
