As part of the “Active Citizen” project (initiative budgeting), the improvement of the petanque court is being completed; 3 more objects implemented within the framework of this project will be completed by the end of the year.
I accidentally came across a note about the start of the “Active Citizen” project, so we prepared and submitted the documents. Many thanks to the administration for allowing me to participate in the competition, and to the people of Yalta for their support. We took second place and implementation began— said the chairman of the petanque federation of the city of Yalta, Pyotr Sobolev, and clarified that during the work on the improvement of the site, the territory was completely cleared, the arrangement of the pavilion with locker rooms and utility rooms is being completed, and additional filling is ahead.
He also added that members of the petanque federation not only supervise the work, but also directly participate in it, while the training and competitive process does not stop.
Another facility that is being implemented within the framework of the “Active Citizen” project is the construction of a modular complex to provide assistance to people who find themselves in difficult life situations — it is being built on Lomonosova, 27, where hot meals are currently being distributed to those in need, and in the future they will there they will not only be able to get food, but also take a shower, get seasonal clothing, and also consult with a psychologist and lawyer. The complex should welcome its first visitors early next year. Also, by the end of the year, one courtyard should be landscaped in Gurzuf and Yalta as part of this project.
This is a pilot project for Yalta. Its essence is simple: an initiative group of citizens proposes, for example, an area for improvement, and the winners are determined by online voting. 5% of the work is paid for by them, 95% by the city. At the same time, the total amount should not exceed two million rubles, and everyone can use the results of the project,” said Pyotr Gavrilov, head of the financial department of the Yalta City Administration.
In total, more than two dozen ideas were received for a total amount of almost 34 million; as a result of the initial selection and online voting on the website through the State Services, 6 were selected, and 4 projects were accepted for final implementation — all will be completed by the end of the year.
