Improvement work on the Golitsyn trail in Novy Svet after the winter storm has been completed

On the section of the excursion ecological and educational route «Golitsyn Trail» in the urban settlement of Novy Svet, landscaping work after the winter storm has been completed. The Golitsyn Trail is one of the most popular excursion sites in Eastern Crimea.

At the viewing platform, the old damaged (more than 25 m) reinforced concrete pavement of the trail, part of the cliff above the trail, and the metal fence that had become unusable were first dismantled. The main stages of the reconstruction included the installation of a monolithic reinforced concrete jacket, a pavement of the trail, and the installation of a wooden fence.

The difficulties in improving the route are related to the peculiarities of the mountainous terrain in close proximity to water. The work was carried out by experienced specialists and was completed on time.

The project was implemented by the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Sudak Forestry and Hunting Farm» with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea within the framework of the state assignment for 2024.
