In 2022, 465 beneficiaries of Sevastopol used free travel to the place of treatment
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Since the beginning of 2023, Sevastopol residents eligible for federal benefits have issued more than 200 electronic travel cards to the place of treatment. Most of those who were given free travel went to high-tech healthcare facilities. 60 people went to the sanatorium treatment free of charge.
Concessionary travel is included in the set of social services (NSO). It is provided to the disabled, veterans, citizens affected by exposure to radiation. Possible routes and types of transport: air, rail, road, etc. — for trips to the place of treatment, including sanatorium and resort, are determined in accordance with the law. The Social Fund issues free travel along with a voucher to a sanatorium or when referring for treatment. Citizens are issued coupons that must be presented at the box office when issuing a ticket. The train ticket can also be booked online without visiting the railway ticket offices— reported in the press service of the Department of the SFR in Sevastopol.
To do this, you need to register on the Russian Railways website, select the route, departure date, car and place. When the service offers to receive a ticket under the benefit of the Social Fund, enter the number of the coupon previously issued by the fund, passport details and SNILS. If a person is more accustomed to buying tickets at the box office, it is enough to tell the cashier about the availability of benefits and simply dictate the coupon number.
