According to Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the main feature (in the city’s construction industry) of the past year is that the same contractor is now responsible for the design and construction and installation work. This approach allows you to avoid delays in repairs and improve their quality. The governor summed up the results of construction and repair work in Sevastopol. 111 roofs and 29 facades were repaired. In total — 140 objects.
29 facades were repaired: the old plaster was cleared, where necessary, it was restored, reinforced layers were applied, and decorative plaster and paint were applied on top of them. It is important that when repairing facades, workers also change windows and doors in the entrancessaid Razvozhaev.
Over the past year, 111 new roofs were repaired, 6 of them on houses that are classified as cultural heritage sites.
Most houses with a flat roof use mainly PVC membranes, which not only do not allow moisture to pass through, but also, unlike the old roofing felt, do not heat up in the heat. But they put seam roofs on windows. The fold is translated as “lock” — this is a way of fastening sheets of metal together; they cling to a kind of lock, closing the fastener and protecting it from the sun, rain and snow. This is a historical technology for Sevastopol. For example, specialists restore the roofs of houses on Bolshaya Morskaya to the same form they were in after the Great Patriotic War: until the 60s, seam roofs were used in our citynoted Mikhail Razvozhaev.
