In 2023, Crimea will become a venue for the festival of professions

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Crimea will become a platform for holding a festival of professions within the framework of the federal project of school vocational guidance “Ticket to the Future”. Children will be introduced to various specialties on the basis of the largest enterprises of the republic. The Professions Festival is a kind of dialogue between schoolchildren, career guidance and labor market experts, representatives of employer companies and educational organizations, the purpose of which is to demonstrate to children what prospects in the labor market will open up for them in the future.

The main objective of the festival is to help schoolchildren understand the world of modern professions and introduce them to the professions of the future that will be relevant for the economy of the country and a particular region in the coming decades, try the professions they like on their own, and also get advice and recommendations from professional mentors.

This year the event has already been held in seven regions of Russia. The students were able to try themselves in various professions: IT-specialist, journalist, machinist, microbiologist, roboticist, air traffic controller. More than 50 thousand schoolchildren took part in the festival. In the 2023 year, the project operator, the Foundation for Humanitarian Projects, will double the geography of the festivals.

It is planned that more sites from enterprises and several lecture halls of professions will be opened for Crimean schoolchildren. Educational institutions will also take part in the event.

Students from all over Russia assembled and dismantled ATVs, looked at the structure of cars, tried on IT professions, learned how to manage social networks, conducted laboratory tests for the production of dairy products, tried themselves as a helicopter pilot and much more, says Ivan Yesin, head of the Humanitarian Projects Foundation.

This year the Festivals of Professions were held in Moscow, Tver, Kemerovo, Rostov-on-Don, Yakutsk, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad. In the 2023 year, the festival is planned to be held in the Crimea.

We will develop the format of the festival. In 2023 we plan to expand it to more than 15 regions , — notes Ivan Esin.

According to him, the participation of existing enterprises in the «Ticket to the Future» project is very important, since a unified system of career guidance, training and retention of personnel should be developed in the regions.

This year I would like to note the successful cooperation with the federal partners of the Ticket to the Future — Russian Railways and VK, — said the project manager. — Next year, along with the expansion of the geography of the festivals of professions, we plan to actively cooperate with key partners in the host cities.

2023 Recall that the project «Ticket to the Future» is focused on early career guidance for schoolchildren to choose their future profession. Previously, students from the Crimean schools participating in the project underwent online diagnostics, which revealed their inclinations and interests. Then the stage of professional trials was appointed. Upon completion, students will once again undergo online diagnostics, which will help provide each student with individual recommendations regarding the choice of their future profession. In the 2022 year, 4000 Crimean schoolchildren became participants in the project.

The federal operator of the project is the Foundation for Humanitarian Projects. The regional operator is the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Education of the Republic of Crimea «Ecological and Biological Center».
