In 2023, EMERCOM employees saved 79 people while eliminating the consequences of road accidents in Crimea

One of the areas of work of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is the elimination of the consequences of road accidents. Almost every day, rescuers provide assistance to victims.

In 2023, units of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Crimea made more than 1,300 visits to eliminate the consequences of road accidents. During the rescue operations, 79 people were rescued from damaged vehicles.

Since the beginning of this year, units of the Main Directorate have been involved in eliminating the consequences of road accidents in Crimea 22 times. As a result, 29 victims were assisted and 1 person was rescued.
