In 2024, Chersonesos Tauride was one of the most mentioned museums in the country

Recently, the press center of the Media Group “Russia Today” hosted a unique video motor, at which the results of the study “Museums in the Public Information Space-2024” presented. It says that Chersonesos Tauride has become one of the best federal cultural institutions in the number of mentions in the media. On March 25, the Museum-Reserve received a long-awaited certificate.

In 2024, we launched the heading “New Khersones”, whose clips only in social networks scored 580 thousand views. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Media Group “Russia Today”, publications on the scientific achievements of the museum-reserve took an important place not only in the regional, but also in the federal agenda— said the deputy director of the cultural institution Natalya Korobitsina.

In 2024, 72 federal museums took part in the study. In the focus of attention were the audience of sites and the total number of references to cultural institutions in the news — a digital trace.

The purpose of the study is to increase the recognition of museums, motivation to work with the audience, support them to realize their own communication strategies. 2024 showed that all museums were a lot and actively dealt with these issues— notes the head of the department of projects in the field of education and social sphere, the head of the project «Social Navigator» of the Media Group «Russia Today» Natalya Tyurina.
