CrimeaPRESS reports:

In 2024, the planned target for coverage of the population of Crimea with preventive medical measures was increased within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Konstantin Skorupsky.

This year it is planned to cover at least 70% of the population of the Republic of Crimea, that is, 1,354,540 people, with medical examinations and preventive medical examinations. Last year, the planned value of the target was 54.2% and 1,079,683 people took part in professional events, which made it possible to exceed the plan— said the head of the republican Ministry of Health.

To date, since the beginning of the year, 134,613 people have undergone preventive medical measures, which amounted to 13% of the annual plan or 7% of the population of the Republic of Crimea.

Let us remind you that it is recommended that all adults undergo medical examination once every three years. In 2024, those born in 1985, 1988, 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2006 and before 1985 are invited to undergo medical examination. The examination includes two stages. Everyone goes through the first stage, it includes: consultation with a therapist; survey; measurement of height, weight, blood pressure; blood and urine tests; electrocardiography; fluorography; examination by a gynecologist (for women). The second stage is prescribed if additional examination is necessary to clarify the diagnosis.

It is recommended that all citizens, regardless of age, undergo a preventive medical examination annually. It includes studies of the first stage of medical examination.
