In 2024 alone, six healthcare facilities were built in Crimea, including a modular day hospital building for antitumor drug therapy at the Crimean Republican Oncology Clinical Dispensary named after V.M. Efetov, two medical and obstetric centers and three medical outpatient clinics in the Sudak urban district. In addition, emergency medical care substations have been built in the town of Zuya, Belogorsk district and in the city of Evpatoria, and by the end of the year the same facility will appear in the city of Saki,” the Head of the Republic listed.
Major repairs were carried out at another 25 facilities, including the children’s clinic on Leskova Street in Simferopol, the traumatology and maternity wards and the operating room of the Simferopol Central Regional Clinical Hospital, and the Krasnogvardeyskaya Polyclinic. Sergei Aksyonov reported that by the end of this year it is planned to complete major renovations in the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital, the infectious diseases building of the Bakhchisarai Central District Hospital, the children’s clinic, laboratory, as well as in the building of the central sterilization department and pharmacy of the Kerch City Hospital No. 3. The final stage is major renovation of a medical outpatient clinic in the village of Gornostaevka, Leninsky district and in department No. 1 of the Simferopol Clinical Emergency Hospital No. 6. The construction of modular buildings for the installation of an MRI machine in the Dzhankoy Central District Hospital and for the installation of a CT machine in the Bakhchisarai Central District Hospital will also be completed.
Meanwhile, within the framework of the national Healthcare project, 109 units of equipment were supplied to nine medical organizations this year. By the end of the year, 12 more units will be delivered.
At the same time, Sergei Aksenov emphasized the importance of identifying and promptly solving potential problems, be it the creation of infrastructure or organizational issues.
