In 2024, the Crimean budget provides almost 12 billion rubles for social payments to citizens

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea is allocated more than 11.9 billion rubles in the Crimean budget for this year for the implementation of social payments. This was announced by the Head of the Republic Sergei Aksyonov. He clarified that about 1.9 billion rubles of the total amount is allocated from the federal budget.

The funds are planned to be used for payments assigned in the event of the birth of a third child or subsequent children before the child reaches the age of three; payment of housing and communal services to certain categories of citizens; provision of state social assistance on the basis of a social contract to certain categories of citizens; social payments to unemployed citizens; compensation for certain categories of citizens for payment of contributions for major repairs of common property in an apartment building,” explained the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov also informed that more than 10 billion rubles are allocated from the republican budget for social payments.

These funds will be used to pay child benefits to a single mother; assistance for children who are under guardianship (trusteeship); monthly cash payments to war veterans, labor veterans, and rehabilitated citizens; annual cash payments to war veterans, participants in the defense and liberation of Crimea by May 9; payment of assistance to low-income families; provision of a subvention to the budget of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation for the payment of monthly benefits in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child; compensation payments for preferential travel for certain categories of citizens on road, electric and railway transport and other social payments— said the Head of the Republic of Crimea.

In addition, Sergey Aksyonov explained that the provision of monthly assistance to orphans and children without parental care and adopted into a foster family, as well as monetary compensation due to foster parents, is carried out by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea.

The budget of the Republic of Crimea for 2024 provides more than 1.7 billion rubles for these purposesconcluded Aksyonov.
