CrimeaPRESS reports:
As part of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads,” the landslide gallery will be repaired in Sevastopol in 2024.
Laspinsky Pass has such a structure as a landslide gallery. Its functions include protecting the route from rockfall. It is also called a gallery overpass or a ribbed tunnel. Work will begin after the conclusion of the government contract.— quotes the Deputy Director of the Directorate for Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Alexander Shiryaev.
The roof, supports, crossbars, spans, and retaining walls will be repaired. The road surface and barrier fencing will also be replaced and sidewalks will be repaired.
The anti-collapse gallery was built immediately along with the Yalta-Sevastopol road; the opening of the southern coastal highway Yalta-Sevastopol took place in 1972.
