CrimeaPRESS reports:
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, commented on the situation with the second shift in Crimean schools in his Telegram channel. Today in the republic over 21 thousand children in 94 schools study in the second shift, which is 9% of all students. Most of these children are in Simferopol, Feodosia, Yalta, Bakhchisarai and Simferopol regions.
Sergei Aksyonov emphasized the need to create conditions under which all schoolchildren can study in the first shift.
To fulfill the instructions of our President, 12 schools with more than 6 thousand places are planned to be commissioned in Crimea in 2025–2028. But in order to completely eliminate second shifts, it is necessary to build 8 more schools, – the press service quotes the Head of the Republic.
It is noted that Crimea has submitted relevant applications to the relevant federal ministries for inclusion in programs for the construction of new educational institutions.
