Over the past week, residents of the Republic of Crimea have become victims of distance fraudsters, having lost a total of more than 17 million rubles.

In Yalta, a local resident appealed to the police with a statement of fraud. The woman said that an unknown person called her, introducing himself as an employee of the tax service, and said that her savings are in danger, so all the money must be transferred to the tax, where nothing threatens them. Having suspected something was amiss, she interrupted the conversation and turned to the police, where she was confirmed by fears and handed a memo. However, scammers did not intend to give up so quickly and a few days later the applicant again received a call allegedly from the tax. This time, despite the warnings of police officers, the citizen believed the speakers of the scammers and handed over 700 thousand rubles cash sending courier.

In Simferopol, a local resident turned to the police, who became a victim of scammers acting according to the same common scheme. The unknown, introducing himself as an employee of law enforcement, convinced the applicant that her savings were in danger. Under the pretext of “salvation” of money, the fraudster provided the details of the allegedly safe account, to which the victim and transferred more than 700 thousand rubles.

Another resident of Simferopol, the false guardian informed on the phone that suspicious activity was recorded on her bank account: someone is trying to transfer savings to financing the armed forces of the neighboring state. A frightened woman, following the instructions of the scammers, translated more than 500 thousand rubles On a «safe» account provided by scammers.

A woman turned to the police of the Simferopol district, who said that an unknown person called her minor to her minor and, under the pretext of receiving a gift in a computer game, convinced the boy to send photographs of the parents’ banking card. — Do not cross the unknown links that you received through instant messengers from third -party sources;

— Do not install applications on your mobile phones, which you first hear or do not have detailed information about how they work;

— Do not follow the instructions of unknown citizens trying to convince you of quickly receiving «easy» money — no one is interested in helping you enrich yourself free of charge;
