In Alushta, a cross-country track is being reconstructed to train Russian national teams

In Alushta, on the basis of the Federal Training Center for Sports Training of Russian National Teams “Crimean”, a 1,200-meter-long incline-cross track is being reconstructed.
Currently, on the basis of the training center for sports training of Russian national teams «Krymsky», specialists from the training center «United Customer», as part of the implementation of the federal targeted investment program, are completing the construction of three buildings — a sports block with a catering facility, a complex with an outdoor pool for sports and synchronized swimming, water polo and diving with covered parking, as well as a hotel with a medical and rehabilitation center. Also, within the framework of the FAIP this year, work will begin on the design of a cross-country track for the preparation of Russian national teams, — said Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Yuri Gordeev.
The inclined cross-country track for training Russian national teams will be equipped with a special anti-slip synthetic coating and fences in its sections will be replaced. In addition, the track will be equipped with a controlled artificial lighting and timing system. The state contract for the reconstruction of the inclined cross track PPK “Unified Customer” was concluded with the contractor on October 9, 2023. All construction and installation work is planned to be completed in 2025.
Modern surfaces and different slopes of the track will allow you to simulate training loads, and its sections with different types of coatings, such as sawdust, artificial grass, granite chips, will make it possible to change the training conditions as much as possible.
The first building of the training center will house a conference hall with 50 seats, rooms for preparatory diving classes, halls for choreography, boxing and universal sports classes, a hydrothermal block, and a gym. In the adjacent building there will be a hotel with 50 beds for athletes and a medical rehabilitation center. In addition, the complex with an outdoor universal swimming pool is already equipped with a 10-meter tower, — says Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the Unified Customer PPK.
