Yesterday, at 16:05, the operational duty desk of “CRIMEA-SPAS” received a message that in Alushta, near a road bridge, a man had fallen from a retaining wall. Rescuers’ help is required. The duty shift of the Alushta emergency rescue squad «CRIMEA-SPAS», as well as the ambulance brigade, were sent to the scene of the incident.
Upon arrival, it became known that the citizen had fallen from a retaining wall about 3.5 meters high and was in an inaccessible place on a steep slope. Rescuers from «CRIMEA-SPAS» on foot using a stretcher evacuated the man along a steep slope to the ambulance.— said the emergency department.
The victim was hospitalized. How and why he ended up on a high and inaccessible supporting wall… is still unclear.
