In Alushta, Azerbaijanis organized the manufacture and sale of alcohol. They will go on trial

The Investigative Department of the City of Alushta established that in May 2024, a 36-year-old native of Azerbaijan was repeatedly convicted of illegal turnover of alcohol on the territory of the peninsula by the criminal group for the production and sale of illegal drinks involving relatives and acquaintances of countrymen. In the underground workshop on the territory of Yalta, the accomplices made orders of ton not in compliance with the safety requirements of products with the addition of various taste impurities and flavorings. The accomplices poured the accomplices dangerous to the life and health of consumers in plastic bottles and sold under the guise of various alcoholic beverages in retail outlets and on the embankment of Alushta.

The criminal activity of the defendants was suppressed in September 2024 in cooperation with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea.

During searches conducted at the place of residence of the defendants and in the underground workshop, as well as at the facilities of sales, alcohol -containing products, plastic containers, devices for the manufacture of surrogate and significant cash flow were found.

One of the participants in the criminal group tried to escape from the territory of the Russian Federation, but was detained at the Moscow airport before landing on a flight, and therefore he was elected a preventive measure in the form of detention. Two more participants in the organized group are wanted.

During the investigation of the criminal case, the examination was carried out, all the necessary investigative actions were performed, a sufficient evidence base was collected.

The investigation of the criminal case has been completed, the materials were sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
