In Alushta, the drunken driver was detained, but decided to escape. What happened next

Employees of the Department of Road and Patrol Service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Alushta while serving on the road “Border with the Kherson region — Simferopol — Alushta — Yalta” near the village. The small lighthouse submitted a request to stop the driver «Ford Mustang». By ignoring the requirement, the driver increased the speed and made an attempt to hide, pose a threat to safety to road users.

Having turned on special signals on the car, the traffic police officers began to pursue the vehicle. The driver did not respond to the demands of the police and continued to move towards the city of Yalta, soon it was possible to stop the car.

It was established that a resident of Moscow, born in 1992, was driving, who refused to be a medical examination for the proposal to undergo a medical examination to establish the degree of intoxication or in a medical institution. The violator was previously deprived of the right to drive vehicles and did not have a driver’s license.

The car was removed from the offender and placed on a specialized parking lot.

In relation to the driver, a number of protocols on an administrative offense were drawn up:

— under Part 2 of Art. 12.25 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the legal requirement of a police officer to stop the vehicle”. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of five hundred to eight hundred rubles.

— under Part 2 of Art. 12.7 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Direct management of a driver, deprived of the right to drive vehicles”. This type of offense entails the imposition of an administrative fine of thirty thousand rubles, or administrative arrest for up to fifteen days, or mandatory work for a period of one hundred to two hundred hours.

Also in the actions of the offender, the signs of the crime provided for in Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Management of a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment.» The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of a fine of 200 thousand rubles to imprisonment for up to three years.

The materials collected in relation to the driver were transferred to the inquiry department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Alushta to make a procedural decision.
