In Alushta, the killer will be judged — he stabbed his own son

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In this case, not everything is so simple.

In Alushta, a local resident ended up in the dock on charges of murdering his son. A 64-year-old man is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

According to the investigation, on April 15, 2023, the accused, while at his place of residence in an apartment on Oktyabrskaya Street in the city of Alushta, during a quarrel stabbed his son, born in 1983, with a knife. The prosecutor of the city Sergey Brodsky and the deputy prosecutor of the city Andrey Rodin went to the scene. During the investigation, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for the man.the prosecutor’s office said.

Obviously, the court will take into account all the circumstances of this case. According to the Investigative Committee, a 38-year-old man (son), returning to his parents after serving sentences for various crimes, established “prison rules” at home, exposing the elderly to physical and moral violence. Moreover, he was convicted of causing grievous bodily harm to his mother.

Unable to withstand the systematic humiliation and threats against his bedridden wife, the father, during another quarrel, stabbed his drunken son with a knife. The victim died from his wound. The investigation also assessed the actions of law enforcement agencies that monitor the living conditions of a previously convicted person. When visiting the apartment, the father misled the inspectors, reporting that his son had no problems— noted in the Sledkom.

The investigation has now been completed. The criminal case was sent to the Alushta city court for consideration on the merits.
