In April, the competition of children's and youth choreographic groups «Dancing Crimea» will be held

In the Intersettlement Center of Culture, Arts and Folk Art of the Saki District, on April 29, the VII Republican Competition for Children and Youth Choreographic Groups «Dancing Crimea» will be held.

The competition is implemented in order to promote, support and popularize choreographic art, identify promising performers, create conditions for the realization of the creative potential of children and youth in an intercultural space— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.

Choreographic groups and soloists of different styles are invited to participate in the following age categories:

  • the youngest — 4-9 years;
  • medium — 10-16 years;
  • senior — 17-25 years;
  • mixed.

The jury consists of highly qualified specialists in the field of choreography of the Republic of Crimea.

According to the results of the competition, the winners of the Grand Prix are determined and I, II, III places are awarded in the nominations «Modern Choreography» and «Folk Choreography». The winners will be recommended for participation in republican, all-Russian and international creative festivals and competitions.

The organizers of the project are the Folk Art Center of the Republic of Crimea and the Inter-Settlement Center of Culture, Arts and Folk Art of the Saki District. The competition is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea and the department of culture, youth and sports of the administration of the city of Saki.
