In Armyansk, a young man will be sent to a colony for an attempt to sell synthetic drugs… for 10 years

In Armyansk, a court passed a sentence on a 23-year-old local resident. On the basis of the evidence presented, he was found guilty of committing 2 episodes of crimes under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph «g» part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale).
The court found that a young man with 30 polymer bundles with narcotic drugs methadone and N-methylephedron was detained by law enforcement officers in a forest belt near the city of Armyansk. The defendant intended to sell prohibited substances using a system of «cache» bookmarks. When examining the defendant’s mobile phone, it was established that he had placed 54 more “cache” bookmarks with the narcotic drug methadone on the territory of the forest belt— told the details in the prosecutor’s office.
The court, agreeing with the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the defendant to 10 years and 1 month in prison to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. The verdict has not entered into force.
