In Belogorsk, the district prosecutor’s office approved the indictment in a criminal case against a 35-year-old local resident. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“violation of the rules of the road, negligently entailing the infliction of grievous harm to human health”).
On March 31 of this year, the accused, driving a Viper active moped, was moving along the Belogorsk-Feodosia highway. Near the village of Bogatoye, the man did not choose a safe distance from the moving Kamaz vehicle, as a result of which he collided with him when the truck was making a right turn. As a result of a traffic accident, the passenger of the moped received multiple injuries that caused serious bodily harm.— said the details in the prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Belogorsk District Court for consideration on the merits. The culprit of an accident in which a person was injured is threatened with imprisonment for up to 2 years.
