In Crimea, 20% of companies have office pets

Every fifth company has fish, cats and other pets in its office. In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of companies from Crimea took part.
Every fifth organization (20%) has pets in their offices: 8% of employers got them by accident, 12% of companies acquired them. Judging by the comments, pets are kept for comfort and to reduce the level of stress and tension among employees.
Most often, animals can be found in the offices of medium-sized (25%) and large companies (20%). And for the most part they are started on purpose.
Purposefully, pets are often purchased for the offices of banks (17%) and IT companies (13%). IT is generally the most tolerant business in relation to the presence of animals in offices. But in the representative offices of construction and manufacturing enterprises, animals more often appear by chance (12% each).
What animals can be found in the offices of organizations? Usually these are fish or amphibians, with cats in second place. You can also see parrots, various rodents and turtles. Some offices have dogs and rabbits.
