In Crimea, 6 out of 10 recruiters believe that candidates experience more stress during offline interviews
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The main complaints about online interviews from recruiters and job seekers are technical problems and lack of eye contact. HR managers and representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part in the SuperJob service survey.
Online interviews are increasingly popular with hiring managers. 63% of recruiters believe candidates experience more stress during an in-person interview. Only 10% consider online interviews more stressful for candidates. 25% are confident that both face-to-face and online interviews are approximately the same in terms of stress levels. Job seekers themselves often rate stress equally from both real and online interviews (47%). For 15% of applicants, virtual meetings with HR are more stressful, for 13% — in-person interviews. Given a choice, 77% of HR managers would prefer to have a personal meeting with the candidate. An interview via Zoom or another program is a priority for 10% of respondents. Another 10% of HR managers do not care about the format of communication, — noted in the press service of the service.
Job seekers also more often prefer personal meetings with representatives of employers (44%), virtual interviews, if given a choice, would attract 20% of respondents, and 25% of respondents would agree to any interview format.
When talking about irritating factors during online interviews, both HR managers and applicants most often mentioned technical problems and lack of eye contact with the interlocutor. 27% of recruiters and 32% of candidates are satisfied with online interviews.
In general, men showed themselves to be more loyal to any interview format; they are more likely than women to be indifferent to where to communicate.
