In Crimea, 6 out of 10 university students worked part-time or completed internships in their field during their studies

Joint research of a service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob Career Start and the project of the Research Institute of Financial Sciences of the Ministry of Finance of Russia «Moifinansy.rf», timed to coincide with the start of the second stage of the All-Russian educational relay race «My Finances» on the topic: «First money: how to earn and manage». 6 out of 10 students work part-time in their specialty during their studies, every second of them has savings. University students from Crimea took part in the survey.

In Crimea, 59% of surveyed university students have experience of part-time work or internship in their specialty during their studies. Future teachers, doctors, pharmacists, IT specialists, engineers and scientists most often work part-time and do internships in their specialty.

Among university students, 48% of respondents have savings (more often young men than young women). However, it should be understood that these are very small amounts: 37% of respondents consider savings to be amounts from 10 to 30 thousand rubles, 29% — from 30 to 50 thousand.

Not only work: every third student of the university takes part in extracurricular activities of the alma mater. Most often, young men and women are members of student associations of various topics, participate in sports competitions and volunteer activities, take part in concerts and master classes, and supervise first-year students.
