In Crimea, 64% of parents of minor children-for the mandatory verification of the age of Internet users

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation called on regulate legislatively The process of verification of the age of Internet users in order to protect children from negative content. Now the resources with the 18+ labeling are available to any user who will put a note on reaching the age of adulthood.
58% of the inhabitants of Crimea support the proposed initiative, among the parents of minor children — 64%. In favor of the verification of the age of Internet users, women are more often expressed than men (66% against 50%, respectively). More supporters of the initiative among those older than 45 years old — 6 out of 10 vote “for”.
Every fourth participant in the survey (26%) is against the offer. In their opinion, this will not bring the desired results: “I am against the prohibitions that can be bypassed”, “I do not see the point, only the idea of state control over every citizen is moving.”
