In Crimea, 92 participants of the Great Patriotic War took advantage of the opportunity to receive free dentures

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Konstantin Skorupsky, said that over the past year in the Republic of Crimea, 92 participants of the Great Patriotic War took advantage of the opportunity to receive free dentures.
Orthopedic services are not included in the basic compulsory medical insurance program, therefore such services are provided in dental clinics on a paid basis. At the same time, in the Republic of Crimea there is a measure of social support for participants of the Great Patriotic War for free production and repair of dentures at the expense of the regional budget,” the press service quotes the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health.

Also, WWII participants have the right to emergency medical care, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.
In addition, veterans and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War are included in the list of population groups for whose outpatient treatment medicines and medical products are dispensed according to doctors’ prescriptions free of charge (for health reasons and within the list of vital and essential medicines annually approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as a list of medicines dispensed to the population in accordance with the list of population groups and categories of diseases, annually approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea).
