In Crimea, a forest fire was extinguished on the territory of the Sokolinsky district forestry
CrimeaPRESS reports:
That night (at 01:50) the Lesozhranitel remote monitoring and control system recorded a “landscape” fire in the Bakhchisarai region — namely, a fire in the area of Mount Boyka.
Windy, dry weather contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. By morning, the fire area was about 1.7 hectares.
As the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea explained, the difficulty of extinguishing is due to the difficult, rough terrain with steep slopes.
29 people took part in the fire extinguishing — specialists from the Bakhchisarai forestry and hunting enterprise, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 6 units of equipment were involved. During the day, the forest fire was localized, and by evening it was completely extinguished.
