In Crimea, a “kind uncle” gave a moped to a teenager to ride, and he… crashed
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A criminal case is being investigated in Crimea against a 61-year-old resident of the Razdolnensky district. He is accused of involving a minor in committing actions that pose a danger to his life (Part 1 of Article 151.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
It was established that in one of the villages of the Razdolnensky district, a local resident, having provoked an interest in the feeling of the thirst for speed and independent control of a vehicle in a 15-year-old fellow villager, gave him a source of increased danger — a personal moped of the Honda Dio brand, thereby creating a potential danger for life of a teenager. Without the required driver’s license, as well as sufficient driving skills, the teenager drove onto the roadway, where he collided with a passing car. As a result of a traffic accident, the victim was taken to a medical facility, where he was treated for multiple injuries classified as moderate.— reported the Investigative Committee.
The suspect admitted his involvement in the crime. The issue of bringing charges against him is being decided.
The Main Investigation Department informs:
In accordance with clause 2.7 of the Traffic Regulations of the Russian Federation, the driver is prohibited from transferring control of the vehicle to persons who do not have a driver’s license for the right to drive a vehicle of the corresponding category or subcategory.
The “good uncle” will face punishment: from a large fine to a year in prison. And yes, for some time he will “quench his thirst for speed” — he will become a pedestrian.
